Brazilian-born and based in Lisbon for over 15 years, Amanda Teixeira is a photographer exploring the intersection of emotion, light and design.With a background in Audiovisual & Multimedia and further studies in Branding and Creativity, her work is rooted in visual storytelling — where aesthetics meet feeling and every image is built with intention.
Over the past decade, she has photographed people, brands and animals, always seeking honesty, connection and simplicity over perfection.
As a certified trainer, international speaker and Sony Portugal supported photographer, Amanda is also recognized for her pioneering work in animal photography, inspiring others to see beyond technique — to photograph with empathy, patience and emotion.
She sees photography as a language of light — one that speaks softly, yet stays with you.
Her approach
Every project begins with a concept — an idea, a story, a feeling.
Before the first photograph is taken, Amanda invests time in understanding the client, their vision and the emotion behind it. This pre-production stage — from creative direction and mood boards to casting and styling — is where the foundation of each story is built.
Her process is collaborative, intentional and ever-evolving. She believes that no two projects should look or feel the same — that creativity lives in curiosity, not repetition.
